Ruber Talpa

Ruber Talpa, a.k.a. Amorph, also known as Martin Linda, lives in Prague. His first attempts with PC music composing began in 1996. First setup was Intel Pentium 90 MHz, 32 MB RAM, SB AWE32 and Voyetra Digital Orchestrator. Martin has soon discovered the magic of samples and trackers with Fast Tracker 2. After several years composing XM modules with lots of samples ripped from computer games, he was strongly influenced by several EBM projects like Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly.

Also influenced by names like Cobalt Sixty, Portishead, Massive Attack, Ohm Square, Na?eva, Liquid Harmony, Banco de Gaia, U96, Dead Can Dance, Underworld, Björk, U2, Depeche Mode, Dreadzone, Hypnotix, Vangelis, Korn, Sepultura, Fear Factory, Už Jsme Doma, ZNC, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and others.

In 1996 also established punk-rock band Disabled. In 1998 – 2000 few live gigs with pc (FT2), guitar, vocal and bass guitar (Hynek Horký) as project Ruber Talpa. In 1999 recorded and self produced CD Ruber Talpa - Space Tribe.

About 2000 felt to limited with FT2 and tried to get to higher level. Always was interested in computer games and during last years composed severall game soundtracks. Still trying to find time to complete own CD. < Back
